I recently had a situation with ftp clients merging bookmarks and it was a mess and the syncing just made it worse. I agree the default should do it silently and automatically. In some cases you actually may not want to merge a messy setup from a machine you played around with or simple messed up. Therefore, the named user is stored as a Internal system user. This meant that no extra permissions were required because the admin has access to everything one way or another. So far up to DSM 6, this has been included in the group of administrators. ![]() ChronoSync lets you set this and it also shows such a conflict as it happens and lets you decide. Resilio always installs the user 'rslsync' on a Synology. Download the appropriate package for your Synology architecture. Name the downloaded config file as ' nf ' and put into this directory: 5. Enable Read/Write permissions for 'admin' user: 4. Merely that it’s a choice the end user can do knowing which file to keep. Login to Synology Web UI and in File Station create new share 'Resilio Agent' (mind the case and space, watch out for trailing spaces).
